One of those days ...

One day I was walking along the street to the bus station. I was really near it when the bus came and splashed me. I was wet from my head to my feet. And then the bus driver didn’t even wait for me but drove away quickly. So that’s why I was compelled to go home on foot. When I came home even my mum was screaming because I didn’t tidy my room. I was tired and when I lay down fell asleep immediately. Five minutes later when I was deep in sleep, my sister came in my room and asked me if I could help her with her homework. I was so tired that I got out of the bed and pushed my sister out of the room. Then I just lay back and tried to fall asleep again, but I couldn’t. I finally fell asleep at three o’clock in the morning. That was the worst day ever.

Urša, 8. b

It was one normal day. I woke up and I remembered that I forgot about my German class. I quickly picked up my clothes and ran through the door. I came to school by car and entered. I was too late and the door was closed. In that moment I remembered that I forgot to do my homework. I started doing it when the first hour began. I was shaking because I didn’t do my homework and the teacher started to ask questions. She called my name and I had to come in front of the blackboard and answer her questions. When the school ended I was angry because I was late to German class, I forgot my homework and the teacher asked me questions. At that moment the bus drove away in front of my eyes.
That was the worst day in my life!
Luka B., 8. b

One morning I woke up late. I quickly got dressed and ran into the kitchen. I didn’t have time to eat anything, so I just poured myself a glass of milk. But it tasted funny. When I checked it I realized it had gone bad. I got to school five minutes late and by the third lesson I found out I had forgotten my books for two subjects. The teachers weren’t exactly happy with this.
When the last bell rang, I went home. It had been raining all morning and the streets were covered with puddles. Right on the corner of my street a car splashed me with water.
When I finally got home, it was a huge relief. Well, this day couldn’t possibly get worse. Boy, I was wrong. Y six years old cousin came for a visit with her mum. The problem is, my cousin is a kind of nosy. Ok, she is really nosy. She wanted to go into our rooms, tipping over the vases, and on top of it, she spilled grape juice all over me. When they finally left, I was getting ready to go to my riding school when I found out it was cancelled.
Bad days happen, but that was really too much!

I woke up and it was a horrible morning. It was raining. I was hungry, so I wwent to the kitchen and there I figured out that we ran out of bread. So I had to eat cornflakes. I didn’t like that. But then I remembered that that day was one of the special days. That night we had a performance at Cankarjev dom, so I didn’t have to go to school. So I dressed up and went to Cankarjev dom.
On my way there a car came by and splashed me. I was really angry because I was all wet, so I had to hurry up.
When I came to the theatre, I went directly to our dressing room. There I found out that I forgot my dance costume at home. I was really upset. When my mother brought me the costume and I was prepared, I went near the stage. All my group was there already and we started to prepare for the performance. When I was dancing I fell and sprained my ankle. At first I didn’t know it, but when I was walking to the stage to perform, I felt a pain in my ankle. I danced anyway, but it hurt really badly.
I hope that a day like that won’t happen again.
